Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to join our team in Wink, TX.

You will be responsible for hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance of mission-critical data center infrastructure, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, battery systems, CRAHU units, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, pumps, and motors. The role requires 2+ years in facilities maintenance, the ability to travel between data center sites, and a flexible schedule that

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment to ensure 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management program.
