Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Oregon's Umatilla region seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to operate and maintain mission-critical facilities, including UPS, CRAC and cooling systems, to help sustain the AWS uptime commitment.

You will work hands-on with electrical and mechanical equipment, perform rounds, monitor BMS/EPMS, and collaborate with contractors. Travel between data centers is required, and shifts may be up to 12 hours with on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.
• Willingness to travel between data centers as needed.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

Responsabilités

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS operations.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning.
• PM, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Create technical documentation to support change management.
