Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician in Gilroy, CA to maintain mission-critical facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and perform installs and decommissions, ensuring high uptime and safety.

This role requires flexibility, travel between data centers, and ability to work shifts up to 12 hours. On-site collaboration with contractors and vendors is expected, with relocation stipends where eligible.

Formación

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, or data center facilities experience
• High school or equivalent diploma
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience
• Work flexible schedule incl. weekends/nights/holidays
• Willingness to travel between data centers

Responsabilidades

• Daily rounds monitoring electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning.
• PM, repair electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Support change management through technical writing.
• On-site support of contractors and vendors.
• Site rotations and up to 12-hour shifts.
