Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facility equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, and cooling systems, across multiple sites.

You will work on electrical and mechanical systems, engage in PM, incident response, and collaborate with a diverse AWS team to keep operations running with high uptime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance or related experience.
• Ability to travel to/within data center locations and work varied shifts.
• Experience reading procedures and engineering drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS, troubleshoot facility events, and support SLA targets.
• Install, decommission racks, and perform PM and repairs on equipment.
• Prepare technical docs to support change management and coordinate with vendors.
