Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities, including stand-by generators, UPS, PDUs, chillers, cooling towers, and fire/life safety systems.

The role requires 2+ years in facilities maintenance and a flexible schedule across multiple sites. Candidates will work with BMS/EPMS, support contractors, and participate in PMs and change management, with potential on-call rotations and travel between

Qualifications

2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLA.
Perform rack installs and rack decommissioning within internal SLA.
PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
