Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facilities.

The role involves support for standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, CRAC units, chillers, cooling towers, and related systems, ensuring high uptime and efficient operations. You will work with a diverse team across AWS infrastructure, perform on-site support, and adapt to site needs, including travel between data centers and potential

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 2+ years of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience in a critical infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical and mechanical equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLA.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within SLA.
• PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Technical writing to support change management.
