Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain mission-critical infrastructure across multiple data center sites. You will monitor BMS/EPMS, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems to achieve high uptime.

The role requires travel between centers, flexible shifts, and collaboration with contractors. Prior hands-on data center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electrical and mechanical experience.
• Ability to travel between data center locations as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical and life safety systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform PM, root-cause analysis and repairs on electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Support change management with technical documentation.
