Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain mission-critical infrastructure across AWS data centers.

You will monitor electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot high-availability facilities to sustain a 99.999% uptime. You will work closely with site Facility Managers, vendors, and contractors, with shifts up to 12 hours, site travel as needed, and potential relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical facilities maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Troubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within SLAs and perform rack installs/decommissioning.
• Carry out PM, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Support change management with technical documentation and coordinate with contractors/vendors.
