Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Chantilly, VA seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission-critical facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDUs, chillers, cooling towers, and water systems; you will ensure high reliability and uptime for AWS infrastructure.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to rack-level events, work with contractors, and rotate shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire safety equipment.
• Monitor building management and power management systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Perform PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
