About The Role

As a CBRE Technical Manager, you'll lead a team in developing and maintaining standardized, best-practice operational processes for critical environment facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and safety regulations. This involves collaborating with facility operations and maintenance, delivering technical training, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and utilizing as-built drawings. You will maintain strong client and engineer communication, continuously improve preventive maintenance and safety programs, and provide technical support for incidents, projects, and emergencies. Further responsibilities include supporting asset management plans, ensuring statutory compliance, and contributing to strategic process improvements across the US portfolio.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversight on SHIELD/CERM Implementation and Reporting on areas such as client contract review, critical infrastructure documentation, site operational RACI, staffing analysis, business continuity/disaster recovery plans, training, mock scenario drills, maintenance planning, operational procedures, incident support, critical work planning, capacity management, root cause analysis, risk register management, and airflow management.
Leadership & Communication
  • Highly adaptable leader with 10+ years managing facility engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to lead, plan, and execute strategic initiatives in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
Technical Skills & Software Proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams/Power BI.
  • Experienced with CMMS, BMS, DCIM, EPMS, Bluebeam, and/or CAD software.
  • Skilled in work order analysis and report writing.
Technical Expertise & Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of data center critical infrastructure such as generators, UPS, PDU, ATS, cooling systems, CRAH, CRAC, and water treatment.
  • Understanding of electrical diagrams, sequence of operations, and safe working environments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years relevant experience; experience and education may substitute.
  • Facility Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Minimum salary: $160,000; maximum salary: $180,000. Benefits include 401(K), Dental, Health, Life, and Vision insurance.
