About The Role

As a CBRE Technical Manager, you will lead a team in developing and maintaining standardized, best-practice operational processes for critical environment facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and safety regulations. This involves collaborating with facility operations and maintenance, delivering technical training, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and utilizing as-built drawings. You will maintain strong client and engineer communication, continuously improve preventive maintenance and safety programs, and provide technical support for incidents, projects, and emergencies. Further responsibilities include supporting asset management plans, ensuring statutory compliance, and contributing to strategic process improvements across the US portfolio.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Oversight on SHIELD/CERM Implementation and Reporting in areas such as client contract review, critical infrastructure drawing management, site operational RACI, staffing analysis, business continuity/disaster recovery plans, qualification & human error training, mock scenario drills, maintenance planning, operational procedures, incident support, critical work planning, infrastructure capacity management, root cause analysis, risk register management, and airflow management.
Leadership & Communication
  • Highly adaptable leader with 10+ years managing facility engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to lead, plan, and execute strategic initiatives, thriving in dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
Technical Skills & Software Proficiency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, CMMS, BMS, DCIM, EPMS, Bluebeam, and/or CAD.
  • Experience with work order analysis and report writing.
Technical Expertise & Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of data center critical infrastructure, including generators, UPS, PDU, ATS, cooling systems, CRAHs, CRACs, and water systems.
  • Understanding of electrical diagrams, water filtration, psychrometric calculations, and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Facility Management certification is a plus.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strong organizational, mathematical, and leadership skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Minimum salary: $160,000; maximum salary: $180,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. Benefits include 401(K), Dental, Health, Life, and Vision insurance.
