Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management and team development experience.
• High school or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.
• Experience operating a mission-critical team or product.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in critical data center operations including feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, chillers, pumps, and CRAC units.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site operations of shift technicians, senior technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Oversee availability zone of data centers and participate in strategic planning.
• Conduct financial analysis and contribute to budgeting decisions.
• Manage 5+ direct reports and potentially remote staff.
• Negotiate contracts and space, oversee facility infrastructure projects.
• Recruit and develop staff; drive project plans and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with IT and business leaders to optimize safety, reliability, and efficiency.
