Job summary

LightEdge is seeking a Senior Director, Data Center Engineering to lead the company’s data center design and development program. You will own design standards, drive cost-reduction initiatives, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver reliable, scalable facilities.

This role oversees technical diligence for acquisitions and expansions, ensures safety and uptime, and partners with SVP Development, Finance, Legal, and Operations to optimize the portfolio across multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, architectural engineering, construction management, facilities engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership and execution skills for data center design and buildouts.
• Experience evaluating electrical and mechanical infrastructure for mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve standard data center design criteria across disciplines.
• Lead technical reviews from concept to turnover, ensuring reliability, safety, and cost targets.
• Direct third-party design teams, contractors and vendors to deliver scalable buildouts.
