Job summary

LightEdge Solutions is expanding its Procurement function to support growth, focusing on data center capital equipment, facilities development, and ongoing maintenance services. The Senior Procurement Manager will lead sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management across electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or related commercial roles.
• Experience sourcing major electrical or mechanical equipment and construction or facilities services for mission-critical or complex industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of critical power, cooling, and facility infrastructure to evaluate proposals and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating equipment purchase agreements, maintenance contracts, professional services agreements, and construction statements of work.
• Understanding of long-lead equipment procurement, supplier capacity, project schedules, lifecycle costs, and commercial risk.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and operate independently within a growing procurement function.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed in the job description or equivalent professional experience

Responsibilities

• Capital Equipment and Construction Procurement: Develop sourcing plans for data center equipment like generators, switchgear, UPS, chillers and related infrastructure.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, supplier negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Evaluate total cost of ownership including freight, installation, maintenance, warranties, and spare parts.
• Negotiate pricing, milestones, delivery, warranties, and change rights in coordination with Legal.
• Support owner-furnished equipment purchasing and clear allocation of responsibilities.
• Track supplier commitments and milestones; identify risks and issues.
• Develop supplier relationships and standardize equipment across projects.
• Support procurement for facilities maintenance, repairs, and renewals.
• Coordinate purchasing decisions with Engineering, Development, and Facilities.
