Job summary

JLL is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager in Amarillo, TX, to lead a multi-skilled team ensuring 100% uptime and safe, compliant campus operations. You will manage training, performance reviews, and hiring while coordinating with planners for preventive maintenance.

The role requires 4+ years in building engineering with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, plus EPA 608 certification and AHJ licensing as needed. On-site work, full-time, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical building engineering experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and repair.
• Data center/Raised floor environment experience.
• EPA 608 certification and AHJ licensing as required.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of data center engineers to ensure 100% uptime and safe operations.
• Oversee safety, hazard assessments and compliance with local codes and AHJ requirements.
• Develop and implement MOPs, coordinate preventive/corrective maintenance, and RCA activities.
• Serve as first point of contact for service-impacting events and after-hours support.
• Attend safety meetings and manage shift coverage for critical environments.
