Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain and troubleshoot mission‑critical data center facilities, including diesel generators, switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and cooling systems. The role requires travel between data centers, flexible shifts, and on-site collaboration with contractors and vendors.

You will support PM, repairs, and documentation, contributing to high uptime and safe operations across multiple locations in Ohio and beyond.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of MS Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily building rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment for 24/7 reliability.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management System (EPMS).
• Assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within internal SLAs.
• Perform rack installs and decommissioning within internal SLAs.
• PM, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation to support change management.
