As a Data Center Engineer is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the critical infrastructure that supports high-availability data center operations at one of the leading engineering consulting firms in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of data center electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems, ensuring reliability, redundancy, and energy efficiency.
• Develop design documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and equipment selections.
• Assist in power and cooling capacity planning, load assessments, and infrastructure layout development.
• Support system modelling, equipment sizing, and technical analysis under guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, structural, and commissioning teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
• Professional Engineering License
• Experience or coursework related to mission-critical or data center systems is a plus.
• Ability to work on multiple projects within a fast-paced consulting environment.
