GCS Recruitment is seeking a Data Center Engineer to lead engineering operations in a large-scale, mission-critical data center in Seattle. The role focuses on high-availability, reliability improvements, and guiding technical teams.

You will mentor staff, drive incident response, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support growth while maintaining safety and compliance.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience in data center operations or mission-critical environments.
• Experience working in Amazon Data Centers as an engineer.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams in 24x7 operations and drive reliability.

• Lead day-to-day engineering and facility operations for a mission-critical data center.
• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Manage maintenance, change management, and operational readiness programs.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis investigations.
• Develop and mentor engineering technicians and operations staff; drive safety and reliability improvements.
• Partner with facility, construction, safety, and operations teams to support growth and expansion projects.
• Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and safety policies.

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to lead engineering operations within a large-scale, mission-critical data center environment. Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering and facility operations for a mission-critical data center.
• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Manage maintenance activities, change management, and operational readiness programs.
• Lead critical incident response efforts and root cause analysis investigations.
• Develop and mentor engineering technicians and operations personnel. -,Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Partner with facility, construction, safety, and operations teams to support growth and expansion projects.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, maintenance procedures, and safety policies.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Center Operations, Critical Facilities, or Mission Critical Environments.
• Exp working in Amazon Data Center as an Engineer
• Experience leading technical teams in 24x7 operational environments.
• Proven track record of improving reliability, uptime, and operational efficiency.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
