Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Data Center Engineer to support Windows and Linux server administration, vulnerabilities remediation, and incident response in a NY data center environment. The role involves AD/DNS/DHCP management, virtualization, storage, DR, and rigorous change control.

The candidate will collaborate with engineering, application, and security teams, contribute to runbooks, and maintain thorough operational documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Windows/Linux server admin and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation and security compliance.
• Proficiency in patch deployment and validation processes.
• Experience investigating incidents and performing root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers in data center environments.
• Lead incident response and problem resolution activities.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and core infrastructure services.
• Oversee virtualization, storage, backup, and DR operations.
• Execute maintenance and change activities with proper runbooks and documentation.
