Job summary

Vortalsoft Inc is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to enhance our communications solutions for enterprise clients in New Jersey. You will work closely with customer technical teams, managing WAN/LAN projects and ensuring efficient performance of data networks.

Your responsibilities will include preparing network designs, installing equipment in datacenters, and leading on-site engineering efforts. Your expertise will contribute significantly to upgrading customer network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, crafting, planning, and implementing communications networks.
• Partnering with customer teams to develop solutions that support their requirements.
• Preparing rack elevation schematics to define and illustrate network design solutions.
• Crafting hardware and software configuration upgrades.
• Preparing detailed work requests for technicians.
• Installing hardware and cabling into datacenters in coordination with other engineering teams.
• Performing smart hands activities on location for remote engineers.
• Managing work orders that impact the datacenter as the on-site engineering lead.
• Remotely assisting other engineers with scheduled maintenance and other tasks.

Job Description-Data Centre engineer Continuous improvement efforts drive our business and you will work with customer technical teams to provide solutions for customers’ internetworking communications requirements. You will be performing network design activity for our large enterprise customer data networks. As the main interface to customers in support of their WAN/LAN enterprise projects, you will make us better by building great enterprise customer data networks.
