Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Denver seeks a Senior Network Engineer to review architectural requirements and design networks for regional and national data centers supporting a service provider network.

You will engineer complex configurations, document solutions with detailed diagrams and Engineering Design Packages, and ensure integrity through testing and validation. Collaboration with vendors to drive new features is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred.
• 5 or more years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier space.
• 3 or more years of experience with data center networking.
• Professional networking certifications a plus – CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
• Public cloud certifications a plus – advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent.

Successful Senior Network Engineer Candidates Have Extensive Knowledge In

• Data center networking
• BGP, IS-IS, VRFs and QoS
• MPLS and/or segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6)
• Connectivity to high-speed public Internet facilities
• Highly available network architectures, failover, and redundant configurations
• Software-defined networking (design and traffic engineering)
• Network configuration automation (scripting with Perl, Python, Bash)
