Job summary

Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) is seeking an experienced data center engineer to design, deploy, and maintain complex DC environments.You will work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cabling.

The role requires strong documentation, collaboration skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. A CS/CIS/Network/Telecom degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CIS/Network/Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5+ years’ experience designing, deploying and maintaining complex data center environments.
• Knowledge of information technology infrastructure components (LAN/WAN/SAN, firewalls, Wintel/ Linux/ UNIX servers, storage)
• Strong documentation skills to capture architecture details, procedures, and other relevant data.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain data center environments (new facility, major renovations/expansions).
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for commissioning and ongoing operations.
• Document architecture, procedures, and configurations clearly for operations teams.

Knowledge of EIA/TIA, IEEE,NEC, and ISO standards relating to data centers and structured cabling
