Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Strategic Negotiator to secure infrastructure deals essential to Google's growing data center footprint. You will lead negotiations for data center colocation and energy contracts, assess market conditions, and present recommendations to our Tech leadership.

We require 6+ years in energy project development or data center leasing, a Bachelor's degree, and strong vendor management and financial modeling skills. The role offers multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in energy project development, utility procurement, or finance/consulting roles.
• 6 years of experience in data center colocation and leasing.

Responsibilities

• Lead transactions negotiations and structuring for data center colocation and leasing contracts, as well as energy supply, renewable energy power purchase agreements, partnerships/Joint Ventures (JVs), and other data center-related energy contracts.
• Contribute to the growth of Google's data center portfolio through energy due diligence during site selection and data center project development.
• Help set strategy for Google's energy procurement program, including the procurement of carbon-free energy in support of Google's clean energy goals.
• Develop and lead agreement approvals, investment memos, and other transaction related materials with senior executives and partner teams, working with team members and cross-company partner teams (Engineering, Finance, Legal, Accounting, etc.).
• Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers including utilities, IPPs, project developers, etc.
