Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Washington, DC office and deliver energy-efficient building solutions for healthcare, research, and critical facilities.

You will lead the design process, mentor discipline teams, and ensure alignment with client goals and project partners. We value deep technical expertise, strong communication, and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• BSEE/BSAE from ABET-accredited program.
• PE registration preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discipline design process on assigned projects and develop innovative engineering solutions.
• Align engineering designs with project and client needs and coordinate with project partners.
• Mentor and guide discipline team to implement solutions.
