Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks an experienced Electrical Project Engineer for our Portland office to help clients design energy-efficient building systems, improve facility performance, and support sustainable outcomes.

You will lead the design process on assigned projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers. A BE/BSEE from ABET program and 10+ years of experience in power distribution and lighting systems are expected; professional engineering

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSAE (or another engineering discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
• 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• Professional engineering registration preferred.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discipline team in implementing innovative engineering solutions for power distribution and lighting building systems.
• Manage the engineering design process on assigned projects within the discipline and align with client needs.
