Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites you to join our Houston team as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, focusing on energy‑efficient building systems design for complex facilities.

Develop and lead electrical design processes, coordinate with clients and partners, and deliver innovative solutions across power distribution and lighting in sophisticated environments. This role rewards seasoned engineers with growth, mentorship, and exposure to high‑impact projects.

Qualifications

• BSEE/BSAE (or another engineering discipline) from an ABET accredited program.
• 15+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting building systems in technically sophisticated facilities.
• Professional engineering registration required.
• Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners and be responsible for the overall design process on assigned projects within a particular discipline.
• Develop innovative and unique design solutions to align with project, client and project partner needs and lead the team in implementing solutions.
