Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) seeks an Electrical Project Engineer in Overland Park to design electrical systems for sophisticated facilities, focusing on energy-efficient building solutions.

You will lead design efforts across the electrical discipline and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact projects. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience in power distribution and lighting design, an ABET-accredited degree, and PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited degree (BSEE/BSAE) and licensure preferred.
• 10+ years of experience designing power distribution and lighting in complex facilities.
• Proficiency with engineering design software (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design process for assigned projects within the electrical discipline.
• Develop innovative electrical solutions aligned with project needs and partner requirements.
• Lead the discipline team to implement solutions and ensure quality outcomes.
