Job summary

Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd in the United States is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Data Center team, supporting the delivery of large-scale, technically complex mission-critical projects across the United States.

You will review drawings, prepare detailed estimates, develop quantity take-offs, analyze quotations, and maintain cost databases while collaborating with cost managers, project managers, designers, contractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical estimating, cost management, quantity surveying, or related construction discipline.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, labor, and installation costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for data center and other mission-critical construction projects from design through procurement and construction.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and other documentation to develop accurate estimates.
• Develop detailed quantity take-offs for electrical systems, equipment, materials, and labor.
• Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and detailed estimates at various stages of project development.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations and provide recommendations based on scope, pricing, and market conditions.
• Develop and maintain cost databases, benchmarks, and historical cost information.
