Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support large-scale data center programs in the United States. You will lead the development of detailed electrical estimates for power distribution, backup generation, and critical systems throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong technical expertise, experience with hyperscale facilities, and collaboration with engineering, construction, and procurement teams. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in electrical estimating, preferably data center or large-scale infra.
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff tools (Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, Bluebeam) and BIM interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for hyperscale data center projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, specs, and BIM models.
• Review bids, identify cost risks and provide value engineering options.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction leaders to inform decisions.
• Ensure estimates comply with codes, safety standards and sustainability requirements.
