Job summary

Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with Data Center experience to lead the design and development of modular electrical systems for next-generation data center infrastructure.

You will design complete electrical systems, size and specify critical equipment, and collaborate with design teams to deliver NEC/NFPA/IEC‑compliant solutions from concept through field installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
5-8 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
Experience with Data Center projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and modular construction.
Familiar with NEC/NFPA/IEC electrical codes.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design complete electrical systems, including one-line diagrams, BOMs and schematics.
Serve as Electrical SME on modular data center projects.
Size and specify switchgear, transformers, MCCs, VFDs, ATS, UPS systems, cable trays and conduit.
Collaborate with Design teams using AutoCAD, Revit and SolidWorks.
Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, IEC and applicable electrical codes.
Support production, field installation and inspections.
