Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join the BIM team for data center facilities.

You will create, maintain and publish detailed BIM models and electrical drawings, contribute to One-lines, switchgear, UPS, transformers, panels and grounding studies, and work with internal and external partners to meet demanding schedules. You will apply Revit to develop construction documents, support coordination with other trades, and travel to sites once or twice a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical design for data centers or mission critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical building systems for data centers using Revit and BIM.
• Produce and publish construction documentation and permit sets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and consultants.
• Conduct short circuit and arc flash analyses.
• Assist with design coordination meetings and clash detection.
• Travel to data center sites as needed (annual basis).
