Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the implementation and execution of EHS programs at a designated data center site.

The role serves as the primary onsite EHS resource, helping ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment for employees, contractors, and visitors. Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in data center or similar setting.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk assessment processes.
• Familiarity with contractor safety management and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Ericsson EHS policies, standards, programs, and procedures at the data center site.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, safety observations, and compliance audits.
• Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses, permit reviews, and safe work planning.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and site procedures; assist with investigations and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor safety activities, including orientation and documentation review.
• Monitor high-risk activities such as electrical work, LOTO, hot work, and confined spaces.
• Maintain EHS records, training documents, permits, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate and deliver site-specific EHS training and safety communications.
• Support emergency preparedness and environmental compliance activities.
• Track EHS metrics, escalate significant risks to leadership.
