Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to implement and oversee Environmental, Health, Safety, and Well-Being programs at a designated data center site in New Albany, Ohio.

You will be the primary onsite EHS resource, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors. Working within established policies, you will conduct inspections, support risk assessments, monitor regulatory compliance, assist with incident investigations, and help foster a strong

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required; OSHA 30-Hour certification required.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in data centers, critical facilities, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Ericsson EHS policies, standards, programs, and procedures at the data center site.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety observations, and compliance audits.
• Support risk assessments, permit reviews, and safe work planning for operations.
• Monitor OSHA compliance, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations, near-miss reviews, and corrective actions.
• Oversee contractor safety activities, including onboarding and compliance monitoring.
• Monitor high-risk activities (electrical work, LOTO, hot work, confined space, heights).
• Maintain EHS records, training docs, permits, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate and deliver site-specific EHS training and safety communications.
• Support emergency preparedness drills, evacuations, and response procedures.
• Assist environmental compliance activities (waste, spill prevention, inspections).
• Track EHS metrics and escalate risks to leadership.
• Promote safety engagement and Target Zero culture.
