Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to lead the onsite implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at a designated data center site in New Albany, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Safety, or related field.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification required.
• 3+ years of EHS experience in data centers, critical facilities, construction, or similar environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, incident reporting, and risk assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Ericsson EHS policies, standards, programs, and procedures at the data center site.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, safety observations, and compliance audits to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses, permit reviews, and safe work planning for operational and maintenance activities.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and site-specific procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations, near-miss reviews, and corrective action tracking to support continuous improvement.
• Oversee contractor safety activities, including documentation review, site orientation, work authorization, and compliance monitoring.
• Monitor high-risk work activities such as electrical work, lockout/tagout, hot work, confined space entry, and working at heights.
