Job summary

Ericsson, located at New Albany, Ohio, seeks an EHS Specialist to implement and support its data center EHS program. You will serve as the onsite EHS resource, ensuring a safe, healthy environment for employees and contractors while aligning with regulatory standards and customer expectations.

You will conduct inspections, support risk assessments, and oversee incident investigations, with a focus on OSHA compliance and continuous safety improvement.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications are required.
• 3+ years of Environmental, Health, and Safety experience in a data center or similar operational environment.
• Experience with contractor safety management and permit-to-work systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk assessment processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Ericsson EHS policies, standards, programs, and procedures at the data center site.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections, safety observations, and compliance audits.
• Support risk assessments, job hazard analyses, permit reviews, and safe work planning.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, customer requirements, and site procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action tracking.
• Oversee contractor safety activities and site orientation.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training and safety communications.
• Track and report EHS metrics and escalate significant risks.
• Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
