Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking an EHS Specialist to support the implementation and execution of EHS programs at a designated data center site in New Albany, OH.

You will serve as the primary onsite EHS resource, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace for employees, contractors, and visitors. Responsibilities include inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and promoting a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Associate's or higher in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• 3+ years in EHS in data center or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Ericsson EHS policies at the data center site.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety observations and compliance audits.
• Support risk assessments, permit reviews, and safe work planning.
• Monitor OSHA regulations, policies, customer requirements and site procedures.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions to drive improvement.
• Oversee contractor safety activities, including site orientation and work authorization.
• Maintain EHS records, training docs, permits, and inspection reports.
• Coordinate site-specific EHS training and safety communications.
• Assist with emergency preparedness drills and environmental inspections.
• Track EHS metrics and escalate significant risks to leadership.
