Job summary

DSV is seeking a Data Center Dock Supervisor in Bridgeport, USA, to lead daily warehouse operations, labor scheduling, and space utilization. You will supervise inbound/outbound activities, drive safety and efficiency, and coordinate with clients and management to meet KPIs.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or distribution, 1 year in supervision, and forklift/MHE competency. A strong candidate will excel in planning, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or relevant environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Prior MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation (preferred).
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with RF scanners and WMS functions.
• English reading, writing, oral communication; business communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for verifying quantities, counting inventory, or other duties.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timely completion of job tasks.
• Good organizational, personnel, and communication skills.
• Good leadership, supervision, and planning skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required.
• Participate in established cross-training metrics activities with opportunity to improve knowledge in multiple areas or departments and assist as a backup when needed.
• Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced, stimulating work environment.
• Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months that vary from mild to moderate.

• Schedule labor and manage space utilization to meet KPIs.
• Ensure safety, SOP adherence, and cost objectives.
• Communicate with clients and senior management on issues.
• Plan daily work and assign duties to staff.
• Train and develop warehouse personnel.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements.
• Assist with HR actions and performance reviews.
