Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, USA, is seeking a Supervisor-Dock-D Shift for 6 AM–2:30 PM on weekdays and 6 AM–6:30 PM on weekends. The role focuses on supervising production associates, overseeing loading/unloading, and ensuring safety and quality in a busy dock environment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and 3–6 years in material handling.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level leadership role. Solid interpersonal and analytical skills are required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Generally prefer 3-6 years’ experience in material handling operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, organizes, and coordinates cycle counts, inventory replenishments and material returns.
• Advises subordinates with questions or problems in any aspect of work activities.
• Monitors work and examines production areas for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Recommends and implements documented changes to procedures to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Performs or assists subordinates in performance of duties.
