Job summary
CoreSite is seeking a Data Center Design & Performance Engineer (Finance) to join the Engineering team. The role focuses on designing and reviewing electrical, mechanical, and site plans for data center projects, ensuring alignment with CoreSite’s build standards and design standards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience in data center/real estate.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in data center operations and design.
- Demonstrated proficiency with CAD software and MS Office tools.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate electrical, mechanical, plumbing, life-safety, and building management systems for expansion projects.
- Define scope for testing and commissioning to ensure operability.
- Provide final QA sign-off for engineered systems after construction.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering for custom solutions.
- Support sales process with technical expertise for complex opportunities.
- Assess installed systems to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Review and approve engineering changes to facilities.
