Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Workforce Manager to lead end-to-end workforce strategy for a large-scale Rapid Data Center Deployment program in Saline, MI. You will align field capacity, skills, and schedules with project timelines and customer SLAs, while serving as the escalation point for staffing constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business/operations
• 5+ years in workforce planning, resource management, or large-scale deployments
• Experience managing union or represented workforces
• Experience supporting large-scale IT infrastructure or data center deployments

Responsibilities

• Partner with account leadership to translate timelines into headcount, skills, and locations.
• Run scenario analyses and establish buffer strategies to mitigate risk.
• Oversee day-to-day workforce allocation across sites and manage onboarding readiness.
• Coordinate schedules, travel, and rotations to minimize burnout and overtime.
• Serve as onsite communications owner for staffing updates and risks.
• Coordinate onboarding readiness and access for partners and resources.
• Define and report core workforce metrics to drive improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance on invoicing and vendor management.
