Job summary

Fermi America seeks a Data Center Project Manager to own delivery of all buildings for an assigned tenant account, from design release through commissioning and turnover to operations. This is owner-side accountability, not a coordination role, with decisions impacting capital and schedule.

You will lead design-build or construction partners, defend commitments, and manage cost and schedule while driving standardization across campuses and preparing for future tenants.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction or project delivery, with data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Demonstrated single-point accountability for at least one building from contract award through commissioning and turnover.
• Experience delivering multiple buildings for a single customer or account over multi-year programs.
• Strong knowledge of major contract structures and owner risk exposure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of accountability for all buildings within the assigned tenant account throughout the complete delivery lifecycle.
• Own sequencing and prioritization across concurrent and successive buildings within the account.
• Drive standardization and repeatability across the account by applying proven design packages and execution approaches.
• Manage interfaces with shared campus infrastructure and ensure alignment of cost and schedule.
• Develop and maintain the project execution plan and turnover strategy.
• Lead change-order negotiations and defend entitlement and cost positions.
• Own the cost forecast and milestone schedule across the account.
• Deliver decision-grade reporting to leadership on cost, schedule, and risk.
