Job summary

Fermi America is building the largest private power campus in the United States to support AI compute needs. The Owner's senior project-controls representative oversees cost and schedule control across design, procurement, and construction of data center facilities, coordinating with GCs, MEP trades, and equipment vendors to ensure speed, accuracy, and contractual compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project controls for data center or mission-critical construction.
• Owner-side experience validating contractor cost and schedule.
• Expertise in cost forecasting and Earned Value Management.
• Advanced Primavera P6 and Oracle Unifier proficiency.
• Strong change-management and contract enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Review contractor-developed schedules for alignment with WBS and construction sequence.
• Validate monthly cost reports: commitments, accruals, actuals, and forecasts.
• Apply Earned Value Management to verify performance and advise leadership.
• Coordinate tracking of long-lead equipment and impact on critical path.
• Manage owner-side change process and disposition of trends and claims.
• Perform Primavera P6 schedule analysis to verify progress for Cx sequencing.
• Ensure contractor deliverables meet contract requirements and formats.
• Coordinate with owners, GC, MEP subs, and vendors for fast-track readiness.
• Prepare owner-level controls deliverables for leadership review.
• Produce timely project-controls data for informed decision-making.
