Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in North Carolina seeks a seasoned infrastructure delivery leader to guide a team building and operating the networks powering AWS data centers. You will drive capacity, reliability, and scalable connectivity while coordinating with global partners.

You will manage technicians and engineers, travel as needed, and shape deployment strategies to meet customer demand and cost targets in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center tech role.
• 2+ years in a management or team lead function.
• 2+ years of TCP/IP networking, network cabling, fiber, optic types, and test equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team of technicians and engineers.
• Manage capacity and deployment in AWS data centers.
• Oversee installation and upkeep of server racks and connectivity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet safety and security standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of data center processes and metrics.
