Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer (Data Center) to join our Harwood, ND team. You will maintain essential mechanical, electrical and control systems in a secure data center environment and provide reliable client service with a sustainable maintenance approach.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical systems, PLC controls, and life-safety systems, plus strong documentation and communication skills. On-site work and regional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical, electrical and control systems in data center or critical environments.
• Familiarity with PLC controls and industrial automation systems.
• Strong documentation and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical data center mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Respond to emergencies and client service requests promptly.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for safety and performance.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend system upgrades.
• Coordinate parts, vendor activities and proposals; ensure BGIS and client standards.
