Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer to join our South Jordan, UT team, focused on maintaining critical mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems in a high-availability environment.

You will perform routine maintenance, respond to service requests, and coordinate with vendors to ensure BGIS and client standards. A high school diploma and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required, with data center experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems in critical environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center systems and ensure highest efficiency with minimal business disruption.
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency calls promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to BGIS and client standards.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
• Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.
