Zusammenfassung

BGIS is seeking a Lead Critical Facility Engineer (Data Center) to manage critical facility engineering teams in South Jordan, UT. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, and control systems in a high‑reliability datacenter environment, delivering timely client service and sustainable maintenance.

The candidate will mentor staff, supervise contractors, and ensure safety policies while leading system upgrades and incident response.

Qualifikationen

• Three years of experience in a similar working environment with HVAC or Electrical knowledge helpful.
• Two years of experience in mission critical infrastructure, including generators, UPS systems, HVAC, fire/life safety systems, BMS systems, and CMMS systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams and communicate effectively with clients.
• Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills and time management.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• Experience writing MOPs and SOPs.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and analytics tools is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provide client service and maintain professional relationships with clients and project teams.
• Lead and coordinate daily tasks of the engineering team; supervise contractors and ensure safety policies.
• Maintain data center systems and monitor equipment performance; anticipate improvements and coordinate upgrades.
• Review and maintain equipment data, manage work orders, and ensure timely completion.
• Respond to emergency calls and escalate issues as needed.
