Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Critical Facility Engineer to join our team in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on maintaining critical data center systems and ensuring safe, reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and life-safety systems.

You will handle routine maintenance, respond to service requests and emergencies, inspect facilities, and collaborate with vendors to meet BGIS and client standards. A high school diploma and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems in critical environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Microsoft Office Suite knowledge: Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical mechanical, electrical, and control systems in a critical environment facility.
• Respond to customer service requests in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergency calls.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure BGIS and client standards are met.
