Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Supervisor, Critical Operations to lead the electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance for our data center facilities. The role requires hands-on supervision, coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance, and direct oversight of a team of Critical Operations Technicians.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of workplace or relevant industry experience.
• Previous direct or indirect people leadership experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex situations during off-management hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain electrical, mechanical, FLS, plumbing/piping equipment in a 7x24x365 data center environment.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and budget for parts; supervise completion of tasks.
• Lead and mentor Critical Operations Technicians; staffing and performance development.
• Stand-in for Critical Operations Manager; report updates to Site Director.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and budgetary requirements.
