Job summary

QTS Realty Trust in Texas is seeking a Supervisor, Critical Operations to oversee electrical, mechanical, FLS, plumbing, and controls across the data center. You will lead maintenance, coordinate contractors, and plan capital replacements while ensuring safety and uptime.

This role requires 7x24x365 coverage, on-site presence, and people leadership responsibilities including coaching and staffing. You will also support customers on the Data Center floor and report to the Critical Operations

Qualifications

• Four or more years of workplace or relevant industry experience.
• Six or more years of workplace or relevant industry experience.
• Excellent people skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage complex situations during off management hours - single point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain facility policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
• Lead preventive maintenance on critical systems including HVAC, electrical, and backup systems.
• Oversee work orders and budgeting for parts and services for critical equipment.
• Facilitate data center space and cable plant design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Provide updates and reporting to the Critical Operations Manager and Site Director.
