Job summary

CoreSite, LLC is seeking a Critical Operations Engineer II for the Day shift in Reston, VA. You will operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems in a mission-critical data center environment, ensuring uptime and reliability for customer infrastructure.

You will work on site from 6:00am to 2:00pm, Sunday through Thursday, collaborating with technicians, vendors, and customers to drive operational excellence and document processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot critical data center electrical, mechanical, and life safety systems.
• Perform facility inspections, respond to abnormal conditions, and document findings.
• Track, trend, and analyze system performance; utilize CMMS to manage work orders and maintenance.
• Support customer infrastructure projects including cage builds and cabling.
• Provide advanced remote hands, manage trouble tickets, incidents, and customer requests.
